A CHINESE WHITE AND BROWN JADE CARVING OF TWO BADGERS
18TH CENTURY
The cub carved from the brown side of the stone, the sow from the white, holding a spray of lingzhi fungus in her mouth and turning towards her young, together with a wood stand, 8.5cm. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Mrs S B Milne (d.2012), purchased in Singapore c.1953.
