A CHINESE RUST-COLOURED SILK KESI 'NINE DRAGON' ROBE, JIFU
19TH CENTURY
Woven with silk and gold thread with nine dragons amongst clouds chasing sacred jewels above stylised rocks and waves, cranes and other auspicious things, 219cm across.
Provenance: Mr Maurice Demets, acquired in China c.1930.
