Description

A CHINESE WHITE JADE HANGING VASE

18TH/19TH CENTURY

The flattened ovoid body with a scrolling pattern, two holes to the mouth, between two loop handles rising from a broad reticulated rim with chrysanthemum blossoms. An articulated handle with a bat and ruyi heads at the edges, a ring for suspension, all raised on a foot with concentric bands, 12cm.
