A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON STEM CUP

SONG/YUAN DYNASTY

The plain U-shaped body with an everted rim, raised on a tall flared ribbed stem simulating bamboo, a paper label for Bluett & Sons, London to the base, 13cm.

Provenance: from the collection of R Firth Esq., purchased from Sydney L Moss Ltd on October 24th 1951 for £3.10, a copy of the original invoice is available.
