A CHINESE INTERIOR-PAINTED ROCK CRYSTAL SNUFF BOTTLE, SIGNED YE ZHONG SHAN

DATED TO THE REN ZI YEAR CORRESPONDING TO 1912

With a flattened tapering body finely painted with a continuous scene of a cockerel and a pair of small birds amongst a rockery and blossoming peonies, with lion head-shaped handles with rings and a double gourd vase with a long leafy tendril running around the body, all in shallow relief, raised on an oval foot, 6.4cm.
