A MASSIVE CHINESE CAST IRON TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER
15TH/16TH CENTURY
With an ovoid body cast with stylised lotus scrolls beneath a key fret band to the rim and a scrolling foliate band to the foot, with two loose ring handles, all raised on three mask-shaped feet, 48cm.
Provenance: from an English private collection formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
