A CHINESE UNGLAZED GREY STONEWARE JAR

WARRING STATES PERIOD 475-221 BC

With an ovoid body and ribbed decoration between a plain shoulder and foot rim, the two fish-shaped loop handles with chevron designs, 17cm.

Provenance: from the collection of Francis Golding (1944-2013), purchased from Michael Willcox on 29th April 2008, a copy of the original invoice is available.
