TWO CHINESE BLACK POTTERY VESSELS

HAN DYNASTY OR LATER

One, a two-handled jar with two roundels on each side imitating zoomorphic features, the other a tripod pouring vessel modelled to resemble ewers made of leather, 30cm max. (2)

Provenance: from the collection of Dr J S Gordon, the tripod vessel purchased on 11th July 1999 from the Gordon Reece Gallery, the original invoice is available.
