A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER

WANLI 1573-1620

With a bombé-shaped body painted with scrolling peonies and leaves, with dentil and chevron bands to the rim, raised on three short feet, 21cm.

Provenance: formerly in the collection of Mr and Mrs Dennis, purchased from William Clayton Ltd on 3rd May 1972 for £50, a copy of the original invoice is available.
