An Indian sword (firangi), straight single edged blade 40.5 in., short inscription to the back below the hilt (possibly in Brahmi script), steel hilt of Hindu basket type joined to the blade by flanges descending from a transverse bar with architectural terminals, angled guard and broad knuckle bow, hemi-spherical pommel with typical slender extension.
