A George III silver two-handled sugar vase and cover,

by Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, London 1787,

circular form, part-fluted decoration, leaf-capped reeded loop handles, pull-off fluted cover, engraved with a crest, on a raised square base, height 19.5cm, approx. weight 17.8oz.

The crest is that of MACAULAY of Edinburgh.
