A mixed lot of Indonesian silver items,
chased foliate decoration on matted backgrounds, comprising: twelve boxes, seven cushion ends, two small bowls, three boxes with ring attachments and a desk seal and stand of tapering circular form. (qty)
Provenance: Mrs. Agnes Van Gessler Verschuir, wife of Peter Rudolf Wolter van Gessler Verschuir, Governor of Yogyakarta, Java from 1929 to 1932, and thence by descent to the current owner.
