A mixed lot of Indonesian silver,
comprising: a graduated pair of baskets, of oval form, pierced foliate decoration, another graduated pair of baskets, with spot-hammered decoration, a single basket and a set of five finger bowls, of circular form, chased foliate scroll decoration, (10)
Provenance: Mrs. Agnes Van Gessler Verschuir, wife of Peter Rudolf Wolter van Gessler Verschuir, Governor of Yogyakarta, Java from 1929 to 1932, and thence by descent to the current owner.
