Description

A George III silver plate,
by Parker and Wakelin, London 1761,
circular form, gadroon border, engraved with an armorial within foliate mantling, the reverse scratched 'No.21' and '16-2', diameter 24.5cm, approx. weight 15.4oz.
The arms are those of Myddelton impaling Rushout, for the marriage of Richard Myddelton of Chirk Castle, Derbyshire to Elizabeth, daughter if the Rt. Hon Sir John Rushout, Treasurer to the Navy.
