Description
A Dutch mahogany and marquetry bombe cylinder bureau, with gilt metal mounts, in two halves, inlaid with urns of flowers, birds and cornucopiae, the pull-out writing surface retracting the roll top, revealing a stepped interior of drawers and pigeon holes, with a pair of secret pilaster compartments, above three long drawers, late 18th / early 19th century, 113.4cm high, 127cm wide, 62.5cm deep.
