An early 19th century lacquered papier-mâché snuff box by Samuel Raven (1775-1847), of circular form, the lid painted with the portrait of a gentleman wearing the Order of the Garter, the interior signed 'S. Raven Pinxt, Patronised by H. R. H. the Duke of Sussex & Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg', 10cm diameter.
