Description

After the antique. A mid-19th century Italian Siena marble Grand Tour model of a Roman lamp, the body in the form of an Egyptian winged female Pharaoh figure, the lid with a sleeping bust of a lady with an owl, with a detachable griffin handle, the base with female masks, the rosso antico marble plinth with inset classical panels, 39.7cm high.
