A Cycladic marble female idol

probably Early Cycladic I to II, 3200 - 2300 BC

with incised brows, large eyes and mouth and with a tapering nose, a long neck and folded arms, with rounded hips, the pubic area incised and with parted legs,

12cm high, on a stand.

Dr J S Gordon collection, purchased before 1969.
