A 19th century German silver kettle-on-stand,
by Elimeyer, Dresden circa 1890-1900,
swirl fluted baluster form, the hinged cover with a flower finial, hinged silver-mounted wooden carrying handle, the stand on three scroll feet, with a burner, and a pierced steel plate, height 35cm, approx. weight 65oz.
Provenance: The property of the Earl of Chichester.
