A set of four George III Irish silver sauce tureens and covers,
by Thomas Johnston, Dublin 1793,
oval form, scroll handles, the pull-off covers with urn finials, on raised oval bases, engraved with a crest, length handle to handle 25cm, approx. weight 74.5oz. (4)
The crest is that of Athy, Carew, Forward, Maddock, Yenn and other families.
