Description

A George III silver-gilt armorial wine label,

by John Reily, London probably 1817,

rectangular form, with draped swag decoration, and mounted with a crest of a lion, pierced 'CLARET', length 5.8cm, approx. weight 0.7oz.

The crest is that of the 6th Earl of Shaftsbury.
