A Meissen tureen and cover for the Turkish market c.1780-1800, the rounded form painted with radiating stripes of flowers alternating with bold yellow stripes, the cover surmounted with a lemon finial, the interior with further flower sprays, blue crossed swords and star mark for the Marcolini period, a restored crack to the base, 16.3cm dia. (2)
