Description
A good Worcester chestnut basket with cover and stand c.1770, unusually decorated to the interior and stand with panels of polychrome flowers within shaped gilt cartouches on a blue scale ground, the basket's exterior moulded with flowerheads in a honeycomb design, the crabstock handles issuing from applied flowers and leaves, square seal marks, 28cm.
