Description
An unusual and impressive North Indian or Afghan dagger, flamboyant blade 14.5 in., flat-sided but with a circular-section tip, the back partly ridged and partly incised with a geometric design, the edge with a distinct step or hook 3.5 in. from the point, engraved along its length with panels of scrolling foliage inhabited by wolves and deer; steel hilt with similar decoration, short horn grip scales.
