Description
A 10 bore double percussion gun, barrels 35.5 in., Birmingham proof marks, hollow top rib, hooked breech, retained to the stock by two keys, engraved tang extending into a strap along the top of the wrist; back action locks with acanthus engraving and signed 'MORTIMER'; the stock with white metal furniture including a well engraved trigger guard and a trap for percussion caps in the butt, brass tipped wooden ramrod.
