A .35 calibre Belgian underhammer percussion 'boot' pistol, heavy octagonal sighted barrel 6.5 in., Liege control marks, well engraved action marked 'J. TARATT' and 'LONDON', later steel ramrod to a rib under the barrel, angled wooden grip.
