An early 19th Century 68 bore percussion conversion pistol, Continental or Russian, two stage barrel, round forward part with swollen muzzle, giving way via a turned band to the hexagonal breech; plain lock with flat hammer, drum and nipple conversion with radiate engraved drum; full stock with chequered grip tapering slightly towards the flat butt, brass furniture; together with a late 19th Century British percussion pocket pistol, hexagonal turn off barrel 3 in., Birmingham proof marks, engraved brass action, flat sided grip.
