A CHINESE SILVER INLAID 'SHI SOU' BRONZE BITONG 17TH/18TH CENTURY The cylindrical body with a flared rim and foot inlaid in silver wire with bamboo and calligraphy with a poem, with a two character mark to the base, 9cm, 265g. Provenance: from the collection of Professor Peter H Plesch and Mrs Traudi Plesch OBE and thence by descent, collection no.Bv9, purchased from Spink & Son Ltd in December 1966 for £25, exhibited at the OCS exhibition in 1979.
