A PAIR OF CHINESE GLASS BANGLES AND A GLASS NECKLACE PROBABLY HAN AND SONG DYNASTIES The bangles of even colour, the necklace consisting of thirty-two circular dark blue beads with twelve flattened beads to the front and a central jade bead in the form of a disc, together with a large globular dark blue glass bead, 8.3cm. (4) Provenance: from the collection of Professor Peter H Plesch and Mrs Traudi Plesch OBE and thence by descent, the bangles collection no.CGm8.5p purchased from Michael Gillingham, London, on 17th May 1994 for £580, the necklace collection no.CGm1.4/44, also purchased from Michael Gillingham, London, in February 1994 for £650.
