A CHINESE AGATE ABSTINENCE PLAQUE QING DYNASTY OR LATER Carved in shallow relief with a gourd-shaped panel with two Chinese characters to one side reading zhai jie, the reverse with the Manchu characters bolgomi karga, all within an archaistic scrolling border, 7.2cm.
