A RARE CHINESE WUCAI 'OFFERINGS' BOWL SIX CHARACTER WANLI MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1573-1620 The centre painted with two scaly dragons contesting a flaming pearl, the exterior with three tables of vases divided by blue jardinières, the flared rim with a geometric cloud scroll band, 19.5cm. Provenance: from an English private collection, Berkshire. Cf. The Ceramic Art of China, an Exhibition Organised by the Arts Council of Great Britain and the Oriental Ceramic Society, 1971, no.177, pl.122 for a similar bowl from the Riesco Collection.
