A RARE PAIR OF CHINESE IRON-RED 'WU FU' BOWLS SIX CHARACTER QIANLONG MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD 1736-95 Each with a U-shaped body supported on a straight foot, painted with a band of bats, peaches and fylfots between scrollwork, 10.5cm. (2) Provenance: formerly from an English private collection, Oxfordshire. Cf. Sotheby Parke Bernet, Hong Kong, and Lane Crawford Holdings Ltd. 8th November 1982, lot.187 for a single Qianlong bowl of this design.
