A CHINESE INLAID LACQUER PANEL
LATE QING/REPUBLIC PERIOD
Set with jade, wood, ivory, coral and various hardstones, and decorated with the two Immortals Zhang Guo Lao and Cao Guo Jiu, in a landscape beneath a flying phoenix and a four character inscription which reads ling feng cheng xiang, 133.3cm x 63.3cm.
Provenance: the Benveniste collection, Montreal, purchased in the 1960s and '70s.
