A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE ENAMEL JARDINIERE 18TH CENTURY The quatrefoil-shaped body painted in coloured enamels and gilt with stylised lotus blossoms on a dark blue ground, with key fret borders around the rim and to the four bracket feet, the interior turquoise, together with a wood stand, 18.2cm. (2) Provenance: purchased from Gump's, San Francisco, 23rd November 1937 for 35, together with a letter from Gump's dated 1938 confirming the purchase.
