A rare late Victorian folk art carved pine butcher's shop sign, in the form of a pig mounted on an oval plaque, inscribed 'G. GODDARD. CASTON', restorations, 82 x 138cm.
George Goddard is recorded as a farmer living in Caston at The Chase c. 1908.
