λ A late 17th century South German ivory relief plaque in the manner of Balthasar Permoser, depicting the Holy family with St. John the Baptist, the Virgin seated beneath a column holding Christ, with a recumbent sheep tucked into her dress, Joseph leaning on a tree trunk, the sky with three cavorting putti, one holding a laurel wreath, 18.5 x 12.5cm, in an early 20th century ivory frame.
