Description
A late George III mahogany longcase clock by John Price of Chichester, the eight day movement with an anchor escapement and five turned pillars striking on a bell, the twelve inch brass arched dial with Roman and Arabic numerals to the silvered dial, with subsidiary seconds and date dials, inscribed 'John Price Chichester', with four season spandrels and Strike/Silent dial to the arch, with a pagoda top hood and a Gothic ogee trunk door, 227.5cm high.
