A 19th century Napoleonic French prisoner of war straw-work cylinder bureau, with geometric parquetry decoration, the later simulated top above a printed scene of battle ships, enclosing an interior with a pair of mirrors and drawers, above a pull-out writing surface with five compartments, the front with a drawer, on brass bun feet, 22cm high, 24.8cm wide, 15.7cm deep.
