λ An Edwardian mahogany metamorphic campaign style desk, with satinwood banding and boxwood stringing, the hinged top revealing a slide-out maroon leather lined interior, with plated mounts and fitted with paper clips, stationery compartments, a pocket watch holder with watch, calendar and engagement frames, a blotter/writing surface, five drawers, one for ink and with ivory and bone utensils, with a Bramah lock, the hinges stamped 'HODGES PATENT', above a leather lined frieze drawer, 84.3cm high, 65cm wide, 44.5cm deep.
