A hardstone frame by Fabergé, workmaster Karl Armfelt, the rectangular chalcedony frame (damaged) with ten cabochon rubies set to the internal white enamel striated border, three-colour gold swags suspended from a diamond-set gold bow, silver strut support on shell backing, with gold ring above the strut, unscrewing to release the shell back-section, signed to gold strut with workmaster's initials ЯA and 88 zolotnik, inventory number 14351, 8cm high, fitted hollywood box, the silk with imperial eagle over the Fabergé mark
