An early Victorian mahogany secrétaire bookcase, flame veneered, the detachable cornice above a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves, the panelled secretaire drawer with ribbed mushroom handles, the interior with a later leather lined writing surface, satin veneered drawers and pigeonholes, above a pair of panelled doors flanked by pilasters, enclosing a slide, on bun feet, 219.4cm high, 113.7cm wide, 42.6cm deep.
