Description
A late 19th century French gilt brass carriage clock, the repeating eight day movement with a platform lever escapement and striking on a gong, stamped '2846', the circular dial with Arabic numerals and inscribed 'MAPPIN & WEBB LONDON', with a painted flower and scrolling foliage surround, the four-glass case with bevelled panels, 15.4cm high.
