λA George IV silver teapot,
by Charles Fox, London 1825,
compressed circular form, leaf capped scroll handle, ivory insulators, embossed foliate decoration on a matted background, the hinged cover with a Chinaman finial, of four foliate capped scroll bracket feet, engraved with an armorial, length handle to spout 28cm, approx. weight 24oz.
The arms are those of Lyndsey/Livesey/Lucy quartering Bancroft impaling Dawson or Curzon.
