TWO CHINESE ALOESWOOD AND ONE CARVED COCONUT ARCHER'S RINGS

QING DYNASTY

One carved with shuangxi characters divided by phoenix and dragons within key fret borders, another with four Chinese characters, the third carved with shuangxi and shou characters between decorative bands 3.5cm. (3)

Provenance: formerly the Graham Thewlis Collection of Chinese Thumb Rings, mostly acquired in Hong Kong between 1971 and 1985, sold at Bonhams Knightsbridge, 11th May 2015, lot 374 (part).
