A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE 'LEAF AND PRAYING MANTIS' BRUSHWASHER

18TH CENTURY

Carved as a large leaf issuing from a thick stem with a flowerhead to one edge and a large insect seated at the opposite side, the stone with minor russet inclusions, 14.5cm.
