A CHINESE GOLD-SPLASHED BRONZE YEN YEN VASE

17TH CENTURY

The body cast in two sections, the tall flared neck with two thick rings above the shoulder and two dragon-shaped handles towards the broad rim, the body with three chilong to the shoulder and four shou characters in various script styles, raised on a tall flared foot, 49.1cm, 12kg.

Provenance: a private collection mostly acquired in the 1970s and 1980s.
