A RARE CHINESE COPPER-RED AND UNDERGLZE BLUE 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' VASE
KANGXI 1662-1722
The ovoid body with a waisted neck decorated with copper red flowerheads and scrolling foliage and two lappet-shaped panels, one containing a scaly dragon with a flaming pearl of wisdom, the other a phoenix on a ground of fire wisps and scrolling clouds, 36cm.
