A CHINESE ROUGE-DE-FER 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' DISH
REPUBLIC PERIOD
Painted in iron-red and gilt with a central roundel containing a dragon and a phoenix amidst fire wisps and clouds around a pearl of wisdom with a stylised shou character, the reverse mirroring the design, a four character mark reading fu shou wan jiang to the base, 15.5cm.
