A CHINESE YELLOW-GROUND 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' DISH
REPUBLIC PERIOD
Incised to the centre with a dragon and a phoenix amidst clouds with a sacred pearl of wisdom between them and painted with stylised foliate sprays to the cavetto, all decorated with green, black and aubergine enamels, with a six character Qianlong mark to the base, 12.6cm.
