*A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE GU-SHAPED VASE
KANGXI 1662-1722
Moulded with lotus petal-shaped panels containing figures of scholars, dignitaries, fishermen and warriors beneath flower sprays, the central bulb between diaper bands, the base with a leaf mark within a double ring, 43.8cm.
Provenance: purchased from Marchant, London 15th December 1970, formerly the collection of Bertil J Högström, collection no.19.
